| Description |
| The
Oregon Youth Conservation Corps was established to provide a
program to increase educational, training and employment opportunities
for youth; and to increase the stewardship of public lands;
to improve work skills, teamwork, the sense of social
responsibility, appreciation of the environment and self-esteem.

Summer Conservation
Corps are usually paid minimum wage, but there are a few programs that pay
a stipend instead.
