Short Summary
(Community-based program - a team of specialists who link schools, students and families together with available community services in the Albany area. F.A.C.T. works in partnership with the local schools to help students be successful in school.)
Description
Services include Albany Youth Services Team: Albany YST brings social services and law enforcement together at the community level for planning interventions and/or treatment for youth with multiple needs. FACT coordinates these efforts as well as offering case management to student and family involved. Crisis Response Team: FACT provides coordination of our district's Crisis Network. A network of trained staff provides assistance to GAPS (Greater Albany Public Schools) and inter-district schools in the aftermath of the loss of a student(s), staff member(s), or other tragic event.
