| Description |
| Albany General Hospital is a 76-bed acute care
facility and health center providing medical services
to the greater Albany area. Hospital services include
a trauma level III Emergency Department, a 6,400 square
foot Critical & Cardiac Care Unit, Physical Rehabilitation,
the Women's Center (offering homelike birthing suites and a
variety of expectant parent classes), HomeCare Network (offering
comprehensive services for a patient at home), Evergreen
Hospice (services for terminally ill patients and their
families), Lifeline personal response service and new
state-of-the-art Diagnostic Imaging including mammography,
stereotactic biopsy, digital angiography and MRI. Interpretation
services are available for those people who do not speak
